Book review: FAQ in Anti-Bribery & Corruption by David Lawler – BUY IT!
This is a great book. In fact, if you’re in business we’d go so far to say that this is the only book you’ll need to read. When you’ve read it. Read it again. And again. And again…
Short on technical theoretical hypotheticals and long on practical advice from real cases the book delivers what people want.
Practical solutions to real problems.
If you are responsible for business in a sector and/or part of the world where there is a risk of corruption we strongly recommend it.
David’s book offers a comprehensive reference for everything the average executive, businessperson or adviser is ever likely to need to know about anti-bribery and corruption.
The book covers a lot of ground.
One section looks at bribery in business and describes some common examples of bribery scams.
Another is given over to putting in place ‘Effective Anti-Bribery Compliance Procedures’. This should be compulsory reading for all seeking to put in place an effective anti-bribery system.
Ideal for packing in the hand carry as you and your sales team take William Hague’s advice and get on a plane to find new customers in emerging markets. Read it on the plane and by the time you arrive you’ll be fully armed.
The book is currently for sale on Amazon. Currently trading at £25.99 there really is no excuse! Buy a copy. By the way, spend time reading the foreword, Barry wrote it!
Good luck.
