Law 360 quotes Barry Vitou in piece on Bribery Act

Print Friendly

Barry Vitou quoted in an article in Law 360 entitled “Courts likely to decide reach of UK Bribery Act” about the Bribery Act and the meaning of Carrying on Business in the UK.

The phrase has important significance for all overseas businesses since getting over this threshold triggers liabilities for overseas organisations under the Bribery Act’s long arm jurisdiction.

We anticipate that it will be a low bar to get over as we recently wrote in our post: What amounts to carrying on business under the Bribery Act.
